Though we’ve proven we’re all pretty good at networking and socializing, Young MC also has a lot of smart people and valuable expertise to offer. So in an effort to put our skills and experiences to use and allow us to give back to the DC community, Young MC has launched a philanthropic initiative in which we’ll be partnering with local organizations to provide pro bono marketing and communications support in a variety of capacities.

Email us to learn more and get involved with our current charitable projects, and feel free to offer any suggestions for additional groups we may engage on a philanthropic front.

Sitar Arts Center
Young MC recently collaborated with Sitar Arts Center to provide communications support surrounding the Center’s 10th Anniversary Celebration and Benefit in April, as well as to increase overall awareness of the organization throughout the Washington area. From media relations to marketing, Young MC and Sitar’s partnership helped ensure a fun and successful event, while raising visibility for the Center.

Young MC has developed a strong relationship with Sitar and looks forward to an ongoing partnership and future initiatives together.

Sitar Arts Center provides multidisciplinary arts education to the children and youth of Washington, DC in a nurturing, creative community where young people discover their inherent talents and gifts. Fostering personal and artistic growth through the visual arts, music, drama, dance, digital arts and creative writing, the Center offers after-school, weekend and summer classes to more than 700 students a year, 80 percent of whom come from low-income households.
